A good ol’ boy from the South turned Marine wants nothing more than to return to Iraq and finish his tour after being at home on leave for the past month. However, fate crosses his path when he meets Brilynn, a fun-loving, conservative college girl that is at her vacation home for the summer.
The short time they spend together before Luke heads back to finish his tour leaves Brie waiting for him to return from his deployment. Luke yearns for the feeling of being with Brilynn and doesn't want to spend another moment away from her.
Their relationship blossoms quickly, but soon enough, reality sets in, leading Brie down an emotional roller coaster and Luke fighting everyday to make sure he makes it home alive.
